The school is situated at Barbigha, the very first work place of the nationalist poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, beside Barbigha - Bihar Sharif Road (NH-82), Sakaldev Nagar, 16 km. north-west of district headquarter of Sheikhpura and 100 K.M. east of the capital Patna. The adjoining village Maur is the native village of Late Dr. Shri Krishna Singh, a great freedom fighter and the first Chief Minister of undivided Bihar and the village Samas is proud of having the largest ancient statue of Lord Vishnu. Road communications branch out of Barbigha in all directions leading to far-flung places of state. Our school, stretching up to an area of approximately 5000 Sq. m has become a landmark of education itself.

The institution is managed by a School Managing Committee consisting of able, efficient, and veteran educationalists. Some of its members have long been/are still associated with the academic world.
